Research Interests

Bodor is interested in studying the functional role and mechanism of nuclear RNAi components in gene expression regulation during myogenic differentiation and in response to environmental stimuli.
RNA interference (RNAi) is an important pathway that regulates gene expression in several organisms. The role of RNAi in post-transcriptional gene silencing in the cytoplasm is well characterized. However, the association of RNAi components with chromatin and their role in transcriptional regulation is not clear.
